Insider Tips from Kirk

  1. Beat the crowds: head to beach parks early—especially at low tide for the best tidepools and mussel-picking.
  2. Combine farmer’s market + market-to-table: stock up in the morning, then plan a picnic by the beach.
  3. Make it an art‑and‑music tour: hit both the markets and evening concerts—great for a date night or family outing.
  4. Parking tip: Community Park fills fast on sunny days—arrive early or bike in for peace of mind.
